Exciting news to report from the S2BH Business Support Team!

Over the last 6 months Leanne Burling, S2BH Business Manager has been working alongside Victoria and the team at Humer HR People to achieve the “Fair Employer Status” Level 1 which means that we are compliant in all areas of Employment Law as well as work to the standards set by ACAS.

If you know us at S2BH you will know our core values include Quality, Professionalism and Collaboration. Whilst we know this we feel it important that we have open, transparent processes to evidence what we do well as well as show us where we can do better.

By collaborating with the team at Humber HR People we challenged ourselves to ensure we have everything in place to support our workforce and provide a great place to work where we strive to “do the right thing”.

Speaking about the process Leanne told us “working with Victoria and the team has been an insightful process, educating us on what HR processes we need in place as well as developing systems to support us in our day to day work. I am confident that our HR systems, processes and policies support our staff which is really important, espeacilly working in a small business that does not have an internal HR team”

Next we will be looking at what we need to do to achieve Level 2 status!
