Counselling and Psychotherapy

Counselling and Psychotherapy

Counselling and Psychotherapy or Talking Therapies as they are often known are options that may be sought out by anyone that is interested in exploring their feelings, behaviours and thoughts.

Talking therapy can help you with your emotions and often people will access this support in times of poor Mental Health or some sort of personal struggle, though of course there are benefits of Talking Therapy for all at any time they may choose.

At S2BH it is our mission to create accessible therapy for all that need it and we do this by working in parterships within our community, accessing grants and reinvesting profit to support our services.

We have various ways that you can access Talking Therapy with us and if you are unsure which of these may suit you let us know by getting in touch.

NHS Talking Therapies in Hull

S2BH works alongside City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP) and other providers in Hull to offer NHS services to residents of Hull, via the NHS Hull Talking Therapies Service (previously known as Let’s Talk).

The Lets Talk Service has been around in Hull for almost 9 years and along with its name change will continue to provide counselling and therapeutic options to individuals in our communities experiencing Anxiety and/or Depression.

If you are experiencing Anxiety and/or Depression, or some other symptoms which you are struggling to understand then contact the NHS Hull Talking Therapies service directly on 01482 247111 or on their website www.letstalkhull.co.uk to organise an assessment.

The website is an excellent source of information and will help you understand if this is the service for you.

Space2BHeard may be one of the options you receive as a provider that you may attend your counselling or therapy with, depending on the outcome of your assessment.

Independant Provider of Counselling for Hull City Council Staff

S2BH provides an independent counselling service for Hull City Council staff.

The counselling is not limited to occupational issues and you are able to seek counselling support for personal issues outside of the workplace.

You will be offered up to 5 sessions which includes the first assessment session.

You are under no obligation to inform anyone at your workplace that you are accessing counselling and you can refer yourself to us confidentially. If you would like to refer yourself please contact us via email at hello@s2bh.org or call us on 01482 705023

S2BH will allocate you a therapist who will contact you to arrange an appointment within 10 days of you being referred.
